Requests from your API key and from AI assistants signed in to your account share the same limits.

Commercial use is available through our standard API access agreements and offers higher limits, multiple locations per request, and bulk export. Contact us to discuss customized pricing and easy subscription billing under commercial terms.
Pay-per-use (x402)
Pay-per-use requests have no account limits. You pay for each request. See pay-per-use.
Errors
When a request goes over a limit, the response body has an error message, a code, and an upgradeUrl with a way to get more.

| 429 | hobby_api_rate_limited_minute | Too many requests this minute. Wait for the number of seconds in the Retry-After header. |
| 429 | hobby_api_rate_limited_day | Daily limit reached. Wait for the number of seconds in the Retry-After header. |
| 403 | free_api_quota_exhausted | The free monthly allowance is used up. The message gives the reset date. |
| 403 | hobby_api_too_many_locations | More than one location in the request. |
| 403 | hobby_api_date_span_exceeded | Date range longer than 31 days. |
| 403 | hobby_api_bulk_export_forbidden | Bulk export needs commercial access. |
AI assistants get the same message as the text of the tool error.
